INFORMATION

General Information
The Historic Irvington Pleasant Run RUN Committee strongly recommends that participants pre-register for this event.
Participants may register, pick up race packets the night before the race at the Irvington United Methodist Church
from 5:30PM to 8:30PM, on race morning beginning at 8:00AM, or online at www.hiprr.org.
All registered participants will receive a Limited Edition long sleeve race T-shirt before the race,
and Kline's Quality Water and finish line refreshments.

Pleasant Run RUN Course Descriptions
5 Mile Run and Race walk
The race and race walk course is composed of scenic, moderately rolling terrain through
Historic Irvington, Pleasant Run Golf Course & Parkway, and Ellenberger Park.
First aid, water stations, and course assistants will be located along the course.
Note: Wheelchair course travels over a grass section during part of the course which may become very difficult if conditions are wet.

3 Mile Neighborhood Family Walk
The non-competitive walk course is composed of scenic terrain through Historic Irvington, Pleasant Run Parkway,
and now around Ellenberger Park. Splits will be read at the one, and two mile marks.
First aid, water stations, and course assistants will be located along the course.

Awards
The Italian Gardens Awards Ceremony and Luncheon will begin at 12:00 Noon in the Irvington Presbyterian Church
located just one block southwest of the race finish line.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the overall top three male and female runner as follows: $100 first, $75 second, $50 third.
Commemorative plaques will be awarded to the top finishers in both the run and race walk.
Attractive awards will be presented to the top finishers in all age groups.
NOTE: The Race walk course will be monitored. All participants must follow basic race walk rules to be eligible for awards.

Race Day Traffic and Parking
Please arrive early enough to find a parking space as there will be traffic restrictions.
Washington Street will be closed between 6:00AM and 6:00PM.
All traffic will be detoured as follows: east bound Washington Street at Ritter to north and south bound Ritter,
west bound Washington Street at Arlington to north and south bound Arlington.
Parking is available in the SBC parking lot located east of Audubon on the south side of Washington Street
and in the Irvington Presbyterian Church lot just west of Audubon.
Additional parking areas can be found on Bonna Avenue and lots south and west of the event area.
Parking lots immediately north of Washington street at Audubon will be permit only.

DO NOT PARK ALONG THE COURSE ROUTE, look for "IPD - NO PARKING" signs, YOU WILL BE TOWED.
